Los Angeles Festival de Esperanza con Franklin Graham (catering to special interest groups)
Here’s why I have a bit of a problem with this. The United States is being pulled apart by special interest groups. Politicians continue to cater to special interest groups at the peril of America losing her sovereignty. We are a nation of immigrants, and everybody should be proud of their heritage, but not at the expense of losing our American culture.
We have immigrants from every nation on earth. According to our Constitution, all are equal. But according to politicians, special interest groups and the media, the focus is on catering to mostly one group, Hispanics.
When one group starts getting special interest and attention, you can guarantee other groups are being overlooked and alienated. Our founding Fathers knew this.
America needs to continue being a melting pot, but we need to come together as Americans and embrace our ‘American Culture’. The common bond is language. English is our language in the United States, and we need to protect that or we will lose everything.
I’m sure Franklin Graham has good intentions, but I think he is doing more harm than good. Franklin Graham is well traveled and knows the importance of respecting a country’s culture. By having this festival on American soil, I don’t believe he’s respecting American culture by catering to one group, no matter how large that group is…
